Spark Conversation

Children often don't have the words to explain how they are feeling or it's difficult for them to figure out where the feelings are coming from.  Having a resource where a child can identify with a character is a good first step in starting a conversation.

In the back of the book, you'll find a removable parent/provide guide with guidelines on how to use the book as a tool. Once removed, children can place notes in the communication pocket about their Ick to share with you, so it becomes an interactive safe place to share their feelings.

"A wonderful book with thoughtful illustrations. I shared it with several of my colleagues and they all complimented on the constructive therapeutic messages it relays in helping children navigate their anxiety. The parent guide is comprehensive and offers practical strategies for parents to support the mental health needs of their children."

"As a parent with a child that deals with severe anxiety, this book really helped put into words what they deal with and in terms they could understand.  I highly recommend this book for anyone who believes in the importance of supporting positive mental health and wellness amongst our youth. "
